Militant Neutrality started off as a concept which is somewhat hard to define. It involves an assertive stance to defend your right to not take a stand on an issue. That being said, those who are militantly neutral do have things they have strong opinions about (in other words, no one is militantly neutral about everything).
Over time, it evolved a bit and incorporated what could probably be termed ‘moderate survivalism’, utilizing some of the philosophy of modern survivalism, which tends to be politically conservative, and re-imaging it in a politically and socially more moderate way.
Even though militant neutrality seems to be an oxymoron, it actually is not. The best real world example is the country Switzerland. They did not and do not take sides in wars, but an invasion of their territory is a really bad idea.
Who is Ragnar Einarson?
Here is a surprise—Ragnar Einarson is a pen name. I wish to maintain some privacy while still being able to sound off my opinions on this site about what I think is going on in the world.
I consider myself to be a general scholar. I have knowledge of a lot of different areas—many of which I have learned about through self-study. If you are really interested, I will add more to this section later.
What is the purpose of this site?
This site was envisioned as a forum for me to review what is going on and to recommend books and products for others who may like the idea of moderate survivalism. In pursuit of this goal, this site is divided into a few different sections. (see sidebar)
